I am a member of SCBWI and also a member of The Yellow Brick Road online picture book critique group. I have two published poems, “Oodles of Poodles” and “Mail,” with Stories for Children Magazine (SFC). “Oodles of Poodles” won first place for poetry in the 2008 Granny Awards for SFC. I have illustrations published in the September 2011 and October 2011 issues of SFC as well. I have a BS degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and I am also a certified reading specialist.
